The king of Langhe viticulture is certainly nebbiolo, a native black grape variety of great value, noble, delicate in its inconstancy but – perhaps precisely because of its small “fragility” and the complexity of its cultivation, which requires great skill – a vine capable of giving extraordinary wines, including, in fact, Barolo.
It is impossible to drink a good glass, in the Langhe, without tasting the wines produced by starting from Nebbiolo grapes, one of the authentic treasures of these lands, whose landscape (UNESCO heritage) is in a certain way shaped and defined by the ordered rows and extremely cared for these famous grapes. The wine list of Barolando, of course, expresses all the love that the inhabitants of the Langhe feel for this vine and the wines that bear its mark, a love that is naturally also transmitted to anyone who visits these lands.
The absolute protagonist of the table, next to the local specialties interpreted every day by our chef, is in fact the Barolo which, in our menu, you can find in infinite variations, together with other important wines of the Langhe, such as Arneis, Barbera, Barbaresco, Dolcetto d’Alba, Gavi, Moscato d’Asti and many others.
